OUR RESOURCES
At 3Back, we know that good Scrum comes from more than just a class. For this reason, we’ve worked hard to bring you quality resources and products to help you along the way. Whether you’re pursuing Scrum for personal and professional growth or involved in a company-wide implementation, we’re here for you.
Scrum Study Guide – The Scrum Study Guide is designed with two intentions: 1) To help course participants pass the Scrum Alliance’s Certified ScrumMaster Exam; and 2) To bridge the gap between theoretical Scrum to real world Scrum. Students in 3Back’s Certified ScrumMaster courses receive a complimentary Scrum Study Guide (a $49.95 value).
Exploring Scrum: The Fundamentals – Written by 3Back’s Certified Scrum Trainers Dan Rawsthorne and Doug Shimp, Exploring Scrum is a comprehensive reference manual which takes a deep exploratory look into the Scrum framework and offers advice about how to think about and use it.
Get To Done® – Easily the most intuitive Scrum-specific tool on the market today, Get To Done® is designed to let you (not your software) drive your Scrum implementation. Get To Done® is available as both an online easy-to-use tool as well as a physical kit comprised of Epic, Story and Task cards as well as other Scrum implementation aids.
Agile Wellspring - Wellspring topics are original source concepts for establishing agile-thinking. Each wellspring topic is a white paper developed by 3Back, and together they comprise the wellspring. A given wellspring topic explores and explains a single invaluable concept for agile-thinking. All wellspring topics are significant and should be read. Wellspring topics should be understood by everyone interested in using Scrum.
Scrum Dictionary - Scrum Dictionary exists for one simple reason. Words matter. In the world of Agile frameworks, words matter even more. It’s far too easy for teams to build an Agile Tower of Babel, where everyone speaks their version of Scrum, Kanban, Agile, Lean, or a Vulcan-like combination of all four. Valuable time is lost to defining terms and debating semantics, rather than developing products. With no one on the same page, confusion is the common language and missed collaborative opportunities are the unfortunate byproducts.
Scrum Dictionary removes the lexicon noise and delivers a clear, concise definition of Agile terms, complete with examples and related terminology, in a format that’s as user-friendly as they come.
