Learn how to apply scrum and gain practical agile skills to drive results in any role, whether you want to work as a scrum master or grow your capabilities. CSM® courses are delivered by Scrum Alliance-certified trainers who possess deep scrum knowledge. When you complete the course, you will receive a two-year Scrum Alliance professional membership.

Will you take the Blue Pill or the Red Pill? This seminar will take Red Pill junkies far beyond what you can pick up from everyday Scrum materials. We'll dive deep into Scrum's origins in the Toyota Production System and will prepapre you to start on the road of your Scrum journey — whether you are an aspiring Scrum Master, a Developer, or a budding Product Owner.

The course lays out the powerful elements of Scrum (its roles, artifacts, and activities) with a thorough explanation of why we have each. Though we cover each of these rigorously, the course is taught in the spirit of the fact that you are in charge, and that you own your own Scrum evolution. The learning path really starts when you get back home; this seminar gives you all the tools you will need to learn, adapt, and change your way of working.

In the spirit of Scrum — which is for building any product — this is not a software course. It is not a training course for agile practices. It is an education event that will broaden and deepen your foundations so you can work powerfully, autonomously, and overcome the misconceptions that plague so many agile teams today.

The seminar is mainly for Developers and Scrum Masters, but it also provides an excellent foundation for Product Owners and others in the organization. (Yes, we believe in managers — they're important, but in the sense of running the organization rather than steering development. Good management insight can really help a Scrum flourish, and lack of management insight is the most common factor in causing Scrums to die.)
