This Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (A-CSPO) workshop is designed to take product owners to the next level of knowledge, skill, and certification. Participants will need to already hold a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) designation, as this workshop builds on that foundation.
This workshop includes a 4-hour live online session where you will meet your instructor and classmates. You’ll learn how to create multi-sprint release plans for a scrum team. You’ll also get to practice communication skills and facilitation techniques that will improve your interactions with your stakeholders and team.
Besides the scheduled live session, the pace of the course is entirely up to you. Start as soon as you register, or wait until after the live session. Take as much or little time as you need to complete the in-depth coursework in the Agile Learning Labs online learning system. You’ll receive ongoing feedback from your instructor and the Agile Learning Labs team as you progress through the material.

When can I start the self–paced work?
Within one business day of registering, you will get access to our online learning environment. It is here that you will do all of the self-paced work, and you are free to start right away!
How long do I have to finish the course?
It’s conceivable that you might be able to power through all of the self-paced work in a few days. Conversely, if you have a busy schedule, you might take six months to complete the work. No worries, this is your learning journey and you’re in the driver’s seat. We will be here to support the whole way.
What are the prerequisites for the course?
Before enrolling in our Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (ACSPO) workshop you should already have completed a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) workshop. If you don’t hold the CSPO designation, take one of our CSPO workshops.
What are the requirements for the certification?
To earn your ACSPO you must:
- Complete our ACSPO workshop
- Document at least 1 year of work experience specific to the role of product owner (within the past five years).
These two requirements can be satisfied in either order. If you have a year of experience already, then as soon as you complete the course, you will earn the certification. If you complete the course before you have the required work experience, no worries. Once you acquire the experience, just document it in your Scrum Alliance account and the certification will activate.
