In this session, Hemant and Vinayak have volunteered to bring a distilled overview of Agile2011 conference to the DFW Scrum User Group.
Agile2001 conference this year in Salt Lake City will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Agile Manifesto signing with a reunion of the original signatories. Conference participants will learn from the deep experiences of the individuals that started the Agile movement and forever changed software development for the better.
This year the conference is expected to have over 1500 participants from around the world, 200+ sessions, across 17 stages. Agile2011 promises an unparalleled opportunity for teams, developers, executives, and managers -- from novice to expert -- from team to enterprise. Participants will get to explore the depth and breadth of Agile software development, across all practices and perspectives.
Fresh from participating in this conference, Hemant Elhence and Vinayak Joglekar will share their observations on the state of Agile practice. In this highly interactive session for DFW Scrum User Group, Hemant and Vinayak will discuss their Top 10 Key Take Aways from Agile 2011 conference in Salt Lake City. For those of you who are not able to attend the conference this year, this will be a great opportunity to get a distilled overview of key themes that emerged in this conference. And, for those who attended the conference, this session will be a great opportunity to hear a synthesis of themes across large number of sessions and be able to discuss and debate some the themes.
