Summary

Topic:   “Scrum in the Real World”

We’ll start by doing a *quick* overview of Scrum then create a Product Backlog of Questions from the participants about *real world* issues they are having using Scrum. As a group, we’ll prioritize the Product Backlog and then create a Sprint Backlog to answer these questions. Based on the level of experience and number of participants, this can be done using a variety of methods; we’ll decide that during the Sprint Planning Session. After we are done answering the questions, we’ll have a Sprint Review and then a Retrospective to close the evening. Michael has successfully used this format around the world at different user groups, conferences, and clients. In addition to answering the questions and addressing the issues, this also shows the power of using Scrum to facilitate a meeting about Scrum :) .
