All CSM courses are taught by Trainers approved by the Scrum Alliance. Taking a CSM course, passing the CSM test, and accepting the license agreement designates you as a Certified ScrumMaster, which indicates that you have been introduced to and understand the basic concepts you need to perform as a ScrumMaster or team member on a Scrum team. This course also satisfies two elements of the CSD track: Scrum Introduction and Elective.

Certification and PDUs
Following successful completion of this course, participants will be eligible to take the Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster online exam, and become a member of the Scrum Alliance. This course earns you 15 PDUs within the PMI. This course also earns you 16 SEUs (Category B) within the Scrum Alliance. PDUs and SEUs can be used toward PMP, PMI-ACP, CSP and other certifications.

The book and this Certified ScrumMaster course use the Visual AGILExicon®, which is a 3D visual language for describing and communicating core agile and Scrum concepts in a graphically rich and visually appealing manner. This training course uses the Japanese version of the Visual AGILExicon, so all images in the course will be in Japanese providing a highly visual way for people to understand and retain core agile and Scrum concepts.
