All CSM courses are taught by Trainers approved by the Scrum Alliance. Taking a CSM course, accepting the license agreement, and passing the CSM test designates you as a Certified ScrumMaster, which indicates that you have been introduced to and understand the basic concepts you need to perform as a ScrumMaster or team member on a Scrum team.

Ken Rubin is a best selling author, keynote speaker, trainer, and coach focused on helping organizations thrive by applying agile principles in an effective and economically sensible way. As a Certified Scrum Trainer, Ken has trained over 24,000 people on agile and Scrum, Smalltalk development, managing object-oriented projects, and transition management. Certification and PDUs Following successful completion of this course, participants will be eligible to take the Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster online exam, and become a member of the Scrum Alliance. The book and this Certified ScrumMaster course use the Visual AGILExicon®, which is a 3D visual language for describing and communicating core agile and Scrum concepts in a graphically rich and visually appealing manner. This training course uses the Japanese version of the Visual AGILExicon, so all images in the course will be in Japanese providing a highly visual way for people to understand and retain core agile and Scrum concepts.
